Hi Chris, I’m emailing to let you know that I fully support Phase IV of the LA River Bike Path. I’ve copied the Burbank City Council on this comment because I’m concerned about the lack of a formal connection between this project and Burbank’s bike infrastructure. If no formal connection is made, then cyclists will have no other option than to ride across the Mariposa Street Bridge. A bridge which Burbank took away from cyclists and pedestrians in 2016, and dedicated exclusively for equestrian use. Because of this, I’d like to encourage the Burbank City Council to reappropriate the $2M that they set aside for the Bob Hope Bridge, and dedicate it to creating a bicycle and pedestrian bridge at Mariposa Street.
